Call for Papers

The Asian Finance Association (AsianFA) welcomes submissions of finance research papers for its 2025 Annual Conference. The conference is scheduled to be held in Taipei from June 26th to June 28th, 2025.

The conference is organized by the Asian Finance Association and co-organized by the National Chengchi University. The conference provides an open platform for finance scholars worldwide to present their recent research and exchange ideas on new developments in finance research. The majority of the sessions will include papers selected through open competition. The papers will be reviewed by a committee of established researchers.

Topics

The theme of the conference is on Sustainable Finance and New Trends in Financial Research. Papers in all areas of finance are welcome, including asset pricing, behavioral finance, corporate finance, emerging capital markets, financial institutions, fintech, international finance, market microstructure, etc. Accepted papers are eligible for various categories of best paper awards.

Doctoral Consortium

We will arrange special sessions specifically for doctoral students. PhD students are invited to present their papers at the consortium, which will be led by prominent scholars. Special awards will be given for excellent papers presented in the doctoral consortium.

Best Paper Awards

The conference will offer best paper awards. The awards will be decided by an Award Committee.

One (1) PBFJ Best Paper Award, sponsored by Pacific-Basin Finance Journal (USD 1,000)

One (1) IRF Best Paper Award, sponsored by International Review of Finance (USD 1,000)

Seven (7) NCCU Best Paper Awards (USD1,000 each)
